2017 AO X-Country Provincial Championships, Bracebridge, ON - November 12, 2017

On Sunday, November 12th we had 3 athletes competing at the AO X-Country Provincial Championships in Bracebridge, ON. It proved to be quite a challenging course with the cold, wet weather making much of the course icy, muddy or both, but our athletes took on the challenge and competed to the best of their abilities.

Harrison Belanger placed 16th out of 60 competitors in the Bantam boys 2000m. Hallee Knelsen overcame a fall in the first section of a very slippery course and managed to climb her way back to 30th out of 119 competitors in the Midget Girls 4000m. Madeleine Krahn also competed in the Midget Girls 4000m with a respectable finish for her first experience at the Provincial Championships.

Congratulations to all 3 STL athletes for their hard work during the X/C season and their strong finishing efforts.
